Martin Wells Knapp(1853-1901) as a mentor of William Seymour, was the pioneer of the Holiness-Pentecostal-Charismatic movement as well as the real founder of the Korea Holiness Church, one of the three largest denominations in Korea. Dr David Bundy has writen his articles on M W Knapp as the father of Pentecostal theology and strategies.
Martin Knapp as a full-gospel harbinger published the first Holiness-Pentecostal Commentaries (NT 7 Vols.) by W. B. Godbey at his Revivalist Pub. in the late 1990s.
Apostolic Mission & Apostolic Faith Magazine and his activities from 1906 to 1920. His writings were the carbon-copies of Knapp's God's Revivalist. Seymour's coworker Rev. Bartleman was Knapp's student with his Maple Mission at 8th Street in LA.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course provides a missionary reading of the Old and New Testament to highlight the Jesus-centered theme of God’s mission in the Holiness-Pentecostal movement and to develop a biblical theology of mission that emphasizes the proclamation of the whole gospel to the whole world. The course includes analysis of classic and current Biblical issues in mission from a theological perspective.
