Objective of Knapp Seymour University

The Worldwide Gospel Tracts Inc(WWGT) was founded and organized by Dr. Thomas Schultz in 1995. The purpose of WWGT dba KSU, founded by Dr. Paul Yong Hong is, with God’s help, to advance the kingdom of God by training men and women to become effective Christian ministers of God and qualified Christian workers in His Churches and global missionary fields. The faculty and administrators have committed themselves to equipping each student to become a Christian witness and servant-leader who will.

KNAPP SEYMOUR UNIVERSITY’s mission is to offer vigorous Christian academic, professional, and practical education in the Christian ministry and missions to our students with a focus on spiritual fellowship.

Within our academic community, KSU holds the high validity of the Holy Scriptures, Church tradition, reason and life experience, while emphasizing the Christian human development and spiritual growth of each student toward Christlikeness. Our educational emphasis will include personal faith in Jesus Christ, the experience of the presence and practice of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, research in Church tradition, and in living the Christian holy life. Our students will be the emerging leaders in the Christian community. Their mission will be to transform the world with the truth of God.

About Knapp and Seymour

Martin Wells Knapp (1853-1901, author & editor of 150 Holiness-Pentecostal books) was the president of God’s Bible School and key leader of the Holiness-Pentecostal Movement and his disciple William Seymour (1870–1922) was an African American, holiness preacher who initiated the Azusa Street Revival, an influential event in the rise of the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements(750 million members in 2019). William B. Godbey Knapp's key theologian, wrote 220 books including NT commentaries.

Mrs. M L Knapp was the invited host of William Seymour to LA in 1906, the founder of Pacific Bible University(Pentecostal Nazarene Holiness Church, now PLNU). Anne and Thomas Seymour(Queen and her brother) were actual leaders of the first Puritanism in England in the 16th century.
